MINISTRIES
Kid's Ministry
We are blessed with a number of children of mixed ages. Children under the age of three have a dedicated parental supervised creche room, the service is live streamed and there are plenty of toys available and a song time for the little ones. Once children turn three they are led in an age appropriate teaching and craft time by Sunday School leaders. Groups are broken up into Explorers and Detectives depending on their age. We also have a youth ministry for children once they turn 10 years old.
Worship Ministry
We believe that since we are created to worship Him only, It is important, as the body of Christ, that we all take part in corporate worship. It is important to come and acknowledge His grace, mercy and all that He has done for us. Our collective worship is led by a band and we invite everyone to worship through song and encounter God's presence.
Prayer Ministry
At Calvary Chapel Hastings we have various prayer meetings. These are times to get together before the Lord and fellowship in prayer both within the service time and individually as needed.
“First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Tim 2: 1-4
Building Blocks Playgroup
Wednesdays 10 - 11.30am
Each week we have a playgroup for pre-school age children and their parents or carers. Sessions are free and run by members of Calvary Chapel Hastings. This time together provides children with a time for free-flow play and parents to chat, support, advise and encourage each other.

UpliftED
We are pleased to host UpliftED, an external ministry close to our heart and based in our Lighthouse building.
UpliftED provides an educational alternative to mainstream secular schooling. The vision is that education is grounded in Proverbs 1:7 which declares that “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge”.
Providing professional teaching and support to like-minded Christian families, enabling children to thrive as Christians in an increasingly secular world.
